Fabriclive 37 Caspa & Rusco
Stand in the rain in room one of fabric and you see where these guys are coming from. This mix was criminally underused until I listened to it. Caspa and Rusco have really stepped up and shown their human side. Their label could have used a sophomore release until the latter release championed by their Mathew Dear.
Had enough, Mill? Sorry, I couldn't resist.
Seriously though, this mix is straight dope. I received it in the mail today (WAAAY before Chris) It's definitely a different breed of Dub than I am used to. Really angry sounding bass tones and glitchy, high energy drums.
"Geezer has so 'ard even his fuckin' nightmares were scared of im"
On it is this SUPER rad tune from Rusko, Cockney Thug. The sample from Snatch is too boss.

Looooondooon
Yo bros. I'm in London.
I took Air India on the way over here. It was not too great.
Then I managed to leave my carry on bag with my computer in it at the baggage retrieval hall. By the time I realised I had left it, my bag had been reported to security and all bomb squaded and stuff.
I am tired.
Check out this rad interview VBS did with daft punk. Its cool if you wanna learn about the group's history and development.
I need a nap.

NEWANYESGOOD
Here is footage of beloved MSTRKRFT dropping one their new tunes in Paris.
To quote AL-P: "We’re working on shit…We’re working on new shit, we played one of our new tracks tonight... It’s the one that everyone went crazy for. Its already on the internet. Let the kids figure it out…It slows down during the break."

WEEKEND
I got to see Diplo this weekend. It was a fantastic experience. He is without a doubt my favorite DJ. I've seen him 5 times in three countries!
Other stuff happened as well. PIX!
The 'Mill'. A beverage full of flavor and character, crafted to please the modern, more discerning gentleman.
Ray selects his favorite piece from the wardrobe while Danny looks cheeky.
Getting into the character of Mill
Yee "Tiger Mug" Ning.
Enlarge, and you should spot a very chilly Harry toward the front of the line. Little did I know, a crisp 20 dollar bill would have saved me from that frigid ordeal much earlier. If theres anything I've learned from Daft Punk at Keyspan and this, its that bribery works.
SNOW!... well, dirty slush really, but you work with what you got.
Sleepy time mill. Left him a couple memos for when he woke up.
Mill stays gangsta even in his sleep.
WHOO! Representing 06880 in the big city.

Edgy
I put up this totally edgy and controversial header.
So there.
Have you seen the video for Snoops new track?
Sensual Seduction. I love it.
So delightfully cheesy. Grainy 80s star burst type film. I love it.

Hey Dudes
London was a lot of fun. Chris and I skipped out on Hospitality, and opted for good ol' fashioned Fabric (tummy ache free). Luckily we caught the stanton warriors, who rocked way harder than I expected. I mean, I knew they were radical, but they face-stomped me with radness. basically they dropped Nazareth. Who am I kidding, thats all it takes.
So I'm sitting here at school about to roll to class, half pumped and half 'meehh' at the new Cloverfield trailer, thinking about what I'm gonna do this Friday, waiting for my microwaved soup to finish.
Shit I gotta go.

Smell Yo Turkey
Riskay feat. Aviance & Real - Smell Yo Dick (zShare, BRA!)
Can I smell yo dick?
I'm off to London tomorrow to visit the family and eat some English turkey. I just can't wait to give my thanks. I show how thankful I am by eating far too much food and going to sleep. Why can't that system be a year-round type of thing.
London should be full of food, tunes and people, so I will be bringing a camera to record the good times.
Hope everyone has a great thanksgiving!

BackUp
Hey lemme snag one?
And, yo
Guess who was on NPR talk show 'Fresh Air'? An author? a politician?
Nah, MF Grimm
He was shot 10 times, paralyzed, sentenced to life in prison, studied law and got himself out of prison, and now has a record label and is still recording. God damn.

SPOOKY!
AAAH!!!
Here is a super radical mixtape I did! Less of a mixtape... more of a MAXtape
MAXTAPE!
Total run time is 7:30. I don't really like long mixes, but I like to rock out!
The track list is tattooed onto a very intimate part of my body. If you'd like to see it, get to know me, take me to dinner and a movie perhaps... you never know what might happen. But yea if you want the name of a track just ask me. NO PROBZ!
Enjoy and COMMENT!

Daft Punk Video
Here is the video for Harder Better Faster Stronger/Around The World, performed at Keyspan Park in Brooklyn, shot by 250 cameras in total. 250 cameras means 250 angles, and when its cut together, its pretty damn cool. Watching this takes me back to that show... without a doubt, the best show I've ever seen. Ever.

Will.I.not
Will.i.am of the black eyes peas saw that Daft Punk allowed Kanye to sample them for his tune 'Stronger'. That was a big hit, so Will.i.am decided he would sample the robo duo as well. Why not? He was so sure that they would love the track, he made a music video for his creation before he received rights to use their sample. Thank god, after DP heard the track, their response to Will.i.am's sample request was simple (its in French, but see if you can translate to English):
"non."
And here is the video he made because he was SO sure Daft Punk would love it. I won't say what I think. Check it out.

TOXIE
New Toxie remix.
Fredzefred - All That Motherfuckers (Toxic Avenger Remix)
Heres another phattie. Not new, but good. Its from French DJ/producer Irfane. I heard it at the Tokyo - New York Music festival while the Teriyaki Boyz were setting up. I can play this tune non stop. A bit cheesy, but fantastic, and oh so groovy.

Try This
Throw on some headphones, put on Genesis (by Justice), and go walk around.
I dare you to try to NOT feel bad ass. Walk in in time with the song for bonus bad ass points. Whatever you are doing, or where ever you are going will instantly become the first Die Hard, and you will not be able to resist drop kicking someone in the head.
They will thank you.

YO!
BLANK.
TEARIN IT UP. Notice the apple worker people moving Ipods and such off the table.
Too kick ass.
BUMP! Just look at how BUMPIN it was. And check how Amanda Blank pops up right when her verse comes in at the very end.
Apparently an apple worker got a bit too nervous about Spank Rock's antics and tried to pull him off the table, and there was a bit of a scuffle. Once it was over, Spank Rock responded by jumping into the crowd and being kick ass. I had no idea any of this was going down, but then again, I didn't know much about anything that was happening at all. Except that my mind was 'splode.

edIT That Hotness
OK, so this guy edIT from LA is extremely phat. His glitch electroy hip hop beats make me jam wherever I am. He has an album called Certified Air raid Material in which he collaborates with several underground MCs, and even with the one and only TTC.
edIT - Crunk De Gaulle (feat. TTC, Busdriver and D-Styles)
And this one easily gets the award for phattie of the week. I cant tell you how many times in a row I've listened to this tune:
edIT - Artsy Remix (feat. The Grouch)
Certified Air Raid Material is out now.

LONDON
I'm in London for a couple days. Maybe some fabric tonight?
Pendulum
Scratch Perverts
Evil 9
I really wish I could stay for next friday though...
Erol Alkan
Vitalic
Kissy Sell Out
That line up is stupid good.
For now, here a slick tune.
Stack my paper up, high as the sky, middle finger up, I'm gonna ride till' I die. Thats my motto. I know you've heard hip hop tunes mashed up with Bitter Sweet Symphony, but this one works pretty well.
Born With It and B.O.B. - Stack My Paper Up
And I know I'm super late for the Feist train, but for all you fans, I agree. Shes pretty fantastic.
Feist - So Sorry
And for dessert, a Van She Tech remix. They kill it on every one of their tracks.

Hes from France, hes a hoodie collector, he wears a mask when he gigs, and the electro madness he creates is so banging it makes you think your speakers are having an epileptic seizure. He'll be touring the states soon (dates yet to be announced) which I can't fucking wait for. Check him out.

No Guitar, No Strobes, No Leather, No Fun
PLEASE, PLAY THE GUITAR JOHNNY, PLAY THE GUITAR FOR ME.
Vitalic, electro-techno-ass kicker is releasing a live album entitled "V Live". It was recorded live at Ancienne Belgique in Brussels, and the entire album is without any edits or post production of any kind. Best of all, it features 8 unreleased tracks.
I saw him at fabric a while ago, and he absolutly blew my face off. I was telling some of you guys about a tack he played featuring a robo voice pleading "Johnny" to play the guitar. Sure enough, its on the album.
Vitalic - No Fun (Play The Guitar Johnny)
The album comes out September 24th.

PAYPA PLAYNZ
If you don't have M.I.A.'s new album yet, be sure to pick it up. Most of the production is by Diplo and Switch, both of which are rad enough on their own.
Heres a extended version of one of the tunes on the album, Paper Planes. One of my favorites for sure. This version features Bun B (of UGK) and Rich Boy (responsible for Throw Some D's). Its good stuff.
